NDDC to Address Issue of Compensation for Right of Way for Projects


The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Nsima Ekere, has promised to direly address the issue of pay for right of path for its advancement extends in the Niger Delta district.

Ekere gave the affirmation when a designation from the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) paid him an obligingness visit at the commission's home office in Port Harcourt. The NDDC Executive Director Projects, Mr. Samuel Adjogbe, and a few chiefs of the commission joined Ekere in getting the appointment.

The NDDC CEO, who commented that the issue of pay had brought a considerable measure of protestations from groups and venture specialists, faulted the issue for insufficient arrangement in contracts for the installment of remuneration.

Ekere stated: "The store is dependably somewhat low so that when an expert completions assessment and brings a report, you discover that what is in the agreement isn't sufficient to pay remuneration."
