Buhari expresses sympathy over Atiku�s exit.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday sympathised with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) John Odigie-Oyegun, over the defection of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar from the party.
gathered that Buhari conveyed his sympathy to Oyegun, at the inauguration of the National Minimum Wage Committee.
Buhari had not spoken on Atiku�s exit since he tendered his resignation letter on Friday.
Buhari, however, told Oyegun at the event, �Accept my sympathy for losing a senior member of your party.�
Punch reports that although the president did not mention a name, it was obvious that the President was referring to Atiku, who dumped the party for PDP on Friday.
