Carlo Ancelotti's managed his 1,000th game as a football manager as he say his Bayern Munich side defeat Hamburg 8 - 0 in a Bundesliga game.
The win means the Bavarians maintained their five-point lead over the chasing pack.
Two goals for Robert Lewandowski and an Arturo Vidal striker put them 3-0 up before half-time, with Lewandowski completing his hat-trick and David Alaba also scoring after the break.
Kingsley Coman came on as a second half substitute and scored twice and Arjen Robben joined the party with an eighth goal late on.
The Italian coach, has managed Chelsea, AC Milan and Real Madrid in a stellar career, was honoured in a presentation before the game at the Allianz Arena.
Ancelotti is the only manager to have won the UEFA Champions League three times and reached four finals (three finals and two victories with Milan, and one victory with Real Madrid). He is also the first manager to have won the FIFA Club World Cup for the European clubs.
